About Author(s)

Dr. Mahadeo Jaiswal is currently Professor of Information Systems at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, India and has been a Visiting Professor cum Sr. Fulbright Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, USA during 2004-05. He has been Visiting Professor at the University of California and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His areas of research include Business Value of Enterprise Systems, ERP Enabled Process Reengineering and e-Government Implementation Models. He has published over 50 research papers and case studies in various international journals. He is author of many books such as Management Information Systems (Oxford), Enterprise Resource Planning (Macmillan), Customer Relationship Management (Asian), e-Business Models: Success Strategies (Excel) and Bridging Digital Divide (Macmillan). He is Chief Editor of the International Journal of Strategic Enterprise Systems. He is a certified ERP Consultant and member of Confederation of Indian Industry’s expert panel of ERP for SME. He is currently working on several ERP consulting projects for Steel Authority of India Ltd., Rural Electrification Corporations, IRCON International Ltd., KRIBHCO, Army Ordinance Corporations, CMPFO etc.

Dr. Rajendar K.Garg is currently Professor of Marketing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His primary research area is in the field of Affective and Attitudinal response to Advertising using varying types of affective cues under different cultural contexts. Recently, he has focused his work on E-Business/E-Commerce as a tool for globalization. His recent work has been published in journals such as, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Commerce and Management, Journal of E-Business and Services Marketing Quarterly. He has received several prestigious awards/scholarships from professional organizations including Two Senior Fulbright Scholarship to China for teaching/research. He has given numerous presentations in the area of E-Business and Globalization of Markets in many other countries as well. He served as Editor of the Journal of E-Business for five years, and currently serves as Editor of the Journal of Digital Business. He has held several prestigious positions in professional organizations, such as, Program Chair for the International Digital Business Academy. He is currently serving as President of the Global Digital Business Society.
